Frederick Stretch Therapy (FST™) is a pain-free assisted stretching technique that is custom made for each individual client. There is no one-sized-fits-all approach to FST. The individual's needs are prioritized in each session. Most of my clients have seen reduction in their pain and improvement in their range of motion and functional movement in as little as one session.

FST is great for everyone, whether you are a professional athlete, collegiate or high school athlete, a weekend warrior, trying to add some distance off the tee box, or you are just looking to relieve some everyday pain and stiffness.
By working in fascial nets or fascial lines, FST can loosen up tension throughout the whole body. In doing so, this will enhance your training regimen and prepare your body for enhanced training.
FST is also ideal for high level performers for recovery, in an FST session your parasympathetic nervous system (think rest and digest) is stimulated jumpstarting your recovery.
In a stretch session, the therapist starts with movement assessment and medical history. Each stretch is eased into to ensure an efficient stretch and a pain free experience. Straps are usually incorporated to aid in the stretch, typically used on one leg when stretching the contralateral side. This pins down and immobilizes one side to ensure a deep stretch of the fascia surrounding your joints, muscles, and bones.
Most clients will see improvement after their first session but best results are seen with consistent sessions every one to two weeks.
